For their summer season of films the Film Club has chosen the theme of London. Different visions of the city will be offered in the six films ranging from Ealing comedy, through 1960’s cool, murder, gritty realism and on to post-modern deconstruction.

Next film: Blow Up - Tuesday 3 May at 6.30 pm
Did David Hemming’s photographer really witness a murder in a Charlton Park? A very cool film by Antonioni about life in 1960s London, with Jane Birkin, Vanessa Redgrave and music from Herbie Hancock and the Yardbirds.
Directed by: Michaelangelo Antonioni, 1966
Certificate: 18
Stars: Vanessa Redgrave, David Hemmings, Sarah Miles
