Coming to a street near you ... Vassall Mobile Surgeries!

Over the past few months Vassall Labour has been going direct to resident's doorsteps as part of a new "mobile councillor surgery" to talk to them about the issues on their street, block or local area. This follows on from our resident's survey, coffee morning and pothole petition earlier in the year.

Since we kicked off our surgeries in early October, we have spoken to well over 200 residents around Vassall. Feedback has ranged from the need to address overgrown trees on Lorn Road and crime issues on some of our estates to praise for new lightening around Durand Gardens. In the next few weeks, we will start updating Vassall View with what resident's have been telling us and what we have done to help out.

Over the coming years we are hoping to get round as many streets as possible, although it will take time for our band of volunteers to cover the whole area, even if we have enthusiastic helpers like young Toby!

In the meantime if you have any issues, problems or feedback about what is happening in your community, then you can ...

  • Get in touch with your local councillors and ask them to help with council related matters - see details on the right hand panel
  • Contact your local Labour Action Team, Paul Gadsby and Annie Gallop with any other issues on vassalllabour@gmail.com
  • Tell us your thoughts on Twitter and facebook
  • Join our mailing list and get monthly updates on what is happening locally by emailing vassalllabour@gmail.com

All your feedback is appreciated and will be acted on!
