Transport for London have launched a consultation on changes to bus route 436 which run along Camberwell New Road in Lambeth's Vassall Ward.
The 436 currently runs from Lewisham to Paddington Station. TfL propose changing the route so that the 436 would run to Battersea Park via Nine Elms. This is to meet the demands of the new development taking place in the Nine Elams area and also provide a direct link to Battersea Park from Lewisham, Camberwell and Kennington.
To compensate for the loss of the 436 on the section between Vauxhall and Paddington TfL propose increasing the frequency of the parallel 36 bus service.
TfL are consulting on their proposals between 11 November 2015 and 10 January 2016. To fund out more and have your say on the proposed changes see the consultations section of the TfL website
