A £3 million renovation spearheaded by local charity Myatt’s Fields Park Project was completed in 2010 and since then MFPP has run the park’s cafĂ© as a social enterprise, delivered 400 cookery workshops, supported 18 local food growing projects from its greenhouse and grown food for use in the park as well as organising six events a year.

MFPP is now a Pioneer Park, one of the first parks in the country to be run by its local community
