Myatts Field Park opening times for the bank holiday

Myatts Field Park will be closed on Sunday, 29 August at 4pm until Monday 30 August at 8am for the Big Sleepover event that is taking place over the bank holiday weekend.

The event, which was giving away free tickets last month as reported on Vassall View, is described as:

This FREE event includes a fire workshop, cooked dinner, story telling before bedtime and breakfast the next day. We’ll have lots of activities including foraging and cooking, bushcraft, plant art, and circus skills as well as lots of games and fun. Bedtime is 10pm and we will ask all participants to strictly respect the curfew.

The Sleepover is a joint project between Father Nature and the Myatt’s Fields Park Project (MFPP), with support from the London Regiment & Army Cadet Force who will provide stewards, overnight patrols and camping equipment. The Big Sleepover 2016 has only been made possible thanks to over 170 amazing individuals, businesses (the Dogstar, CLS Holdings plc, Organico and Sainsbury’s at Brixton Water Lane) and the Mayor of London’s Crowdfunding Programme who collectively donated the funds to make this a free event for the community. We thank you all.
